Austin Restorative Dentistry

PERSONAL & FRIENDLY DENTAL SERVICES

At Bell Dental Studio, one of our most important and appreciated services is the time we take to examine and determine the causes for a smile that is not as pleasing as you would like. By obtaining the proper data — facial height, lip position, gum height, as well as the tooth position, size, and color — we can come up with a proper diagnosis and an appropriate, personalized treatment. If you are interested in any restorative dental work, you can entrust our Austin dental staff to handle your treatment with the utmost care.

WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?

In some complex cases, obtaining the desired results requires a combination of treatments with other specialists, such as a periodontist (gum specialist) or orthodontist. An oral surgeon might even be necessary. Dr. Bell’s is committed to offering a complete diagnosis that gives patients information on all the alternatives and variables related to their treatment.

Restorative Dental Solutions for Austin Residents

At Bell Dental Studio, we understand the unique dental needs of our Austin community. With local resources like the Austin Public Health Department, residents have access to valuable information about oral health and services. We also recognize the challenges many face, such as limited access to specialized care, unexpected dental emergencies, or the high costs of treatments. That’s why our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive restorative dentistry solutions, helping our patients achieve a healthy, confident smile with accessible care.

During your consultation, we will assess your oral health and address common dental concerns faced by Austin residents. Whether it’s understanding local insurance options or what dental procedures you may need, we can guide you every step of the way. We tailor each treatment plan to fit your lifestyle while providing long-term benefits for your oral health. Let us help you regain your confident smile, so you can get back to enjoying dining in Downtown Austin, exploring Zilker Park, or attending classes at the University of Texas at Austin. Your smile is our top priority!

Discover the Unique Benefits of Our Dental Treatments

If the patient chooses to proceed with a smile enhancement program, we send a plaster model of the patient’s current dental pattern to a laboratory for a diagnostic wax-up, along with a detailed description of the desired results. When the lab delivers the new plaster model, the patient can examine the “before” and “after” models to visualize what smile enhancement can accomplish.

Commonly Asked Questions

How do I know which restorative option is best for me?

During your consultation, Dr. Bell will assess your oral health, discuss your goals, and consider factors such as the location of the problem, your budget, and the long-term benefits of each treatment. Based on this information, a personalized treatment plan will be created that best meets your needs.

How long do restorative dental treatments take?

The timeline for restorative dental work can vary based on the complexity of your case and the type of treatment required. For example, dental implants may take several months to fully integrate with the jawbone, while crowns and fillings typically take just a few visits. Dr. Bell will discuss a treatment timeline with you after your consultation.

Are restorative dental procedures painful?

Most restorative procedures are performed with local anesthesia to ensure you are comfortable throughout the treatment. Afterward, you may experience mild discomfort or sensitivity, but this should subside within a few days. Dr. Bell and the team will provide guidance on how to manage any discomfort following your procedure.

HOW WE RESTORE YOUR NEW SMILE

The wax-up model is used to make the temporary white composite restorations, allowing our patients to try out their new smile before the final restorations are placed. This gives our clients a chance to show the proposed result to others, eat, talk, smile and make sure they are pleased with their treatment before the final restorations are completed.

If a patient wants to tweak the smile, it is easy to modify the temporary composite restorations. After final modifications, a quick impression is taken, and the model is made and sent to the laboratory as a detailed “blueprint” of the final restorations.
